Appearance: In human form Requiem retains the yellow/green eyes of a cat. His hair is long and runs in dark, slight waves down his back, just past his waist, but is usually braided or kept up somehow. His body is of average build with just a little extra muscle here and there. His presence is seen as somewhat intimidating by most people, but he could easily disappear into a crowd if he wished. His charisma is very high and he is seen to be very handsome or even beautiful.

In panther form his is bigger than the average wild panthers, slightly smaller than a pony. He bares a silver stripe of fur diagonally across his face from his jaw to his ear, a war scar on his perfected fur. Like many older therians Requiem has the ability to shift into half beast form and shift outside the confines of the full moon. In half beast form, he grows to about 7'4" has the characteristics of a bipedal panther.

Requiem also has a Christian cross tattooed on his chest in human form that appears as red fur on his chest in panther form.

Personality: Tends to act like a tough nut to crack, but really has a caring personality. Protects himself by often acting as though he cares for no one and nothing, but often it is untrue. He may look big and rough, but happens to be able to be very gentle. Tends to put himself in harms way to protect others. Enjoys being able to smile, if the situation is right. Takes his work very seriously, no matter what he is doing. His self control is extraordinary, though he has ‘a short fuse’ and can anger quickly. His rage is something that none wish to suffer and can be very dangerous if awakened. (Anger and rage are different things.)

Background: Requiem was infected as a young child. He was cast from his home as a young teenager, after his parents discovered the secret that he had been keeping. He grew up alone, learning by trial and error how to deal with his secret without any guidance. This way of life also caused him to be a competent fighter and a professional with any kind of weapon. As an older teenager he was taken in by a lonely, old priest who taught him the wrongs and rights of the world and to be a gentleman. The priest died not too long after and left everything he had to Requiem, claiming him as his son, asking only in the end that he find some way to do good in the world.

Decades after the death of the priest, Requiem went to medical school, carefully concealing his secret from the world. He graduated and now moves from place to place working in hospitals, practices, and where ever else he might be needed. He is gentle, caring, and dedicated to his work, working diligently to fulfill the dying wish of his only true mentor.

At some point in his younger years, Requiem swore that he would help to protect as many lives as he possibly could, in any way that was required. Including ridding the world of crazed preternatural creatures. He has found that nothing is beyond him, and he has done many things that if known would cause some to look upon him in horror. His fighting skills are envied by many, and many are careful to avoid confrontation.

Weapons: Requiem constantly carries a large dagger tied to his left calve, throwing knives concealed on his body, and a garret. Depending on what he is doing he is known to carry any assortment of guns of a varied array of calibers. He is known to make ordinary objects dangerous in various ways. He also is a master of martial arts, and is deadly using it. His shear size and skill could be considered weapons.

Powers: Besides shape shifting, Requiem has no ‘powers’ per say, but he has the uncanny ability to know when a person is lying. He also uses his charisma to persuade people to do whatever he needs. His skills as a doctor may not be considered powers, but they are useful. He has the wisdom to manipulate things around him and use them to suit his needs.

Extra Info: Likes animals, especially horses. Rides a motorcycle.

Charisma: The undefinable personality trait that often includes the seemingly 'supernatural' or uncanny ability to lead, charm, persuade, inspire, and/or influence people. It refers especially to a quality in certain people who easily draw the attention and admiration of others due to a 'magnetic' quality of personality and/or appearance. Despite the strong emotions they so often induce in others, charismatic individuals generally project unusual calmness, confidence, assertiveness, dominance, authenticity, and focus, and almost always possess superb communication and/or oratorical skills.
